Georgia Interfaith Power & Light (GIPL) Action Fund engages and empowers people of faith to take direct action to advocate for candidates, elected officials, and policies that support environmental justice and climate resilience.

We train and equip leaders to advance public policies, mobilize civic action, and support climate-champion policymakers and candidates at the local, state, and federal levels. This includes direct action and participation in the democratic process around issues impacting the environment, public health, and frontline communities.

Georgia families are already paying an average of $504 more a year due to decisions by Georgia Power and the Public Service Commission. Now, to feed power-hungry data centers, Georgia Power is building expensive new gas plants and pipelines and passing the cost on to you.
